MessageLast night (17 May 2006), my wife and I decided to go to Wetzlar, Germany to see SAGA in concert. That was the first time we heard of you guys (MIR). For what we experienced..., no words to describe it... Hands Down! You guys really ROCK! The music, the performance, you guys are great! At the end of the concert we (my wife and I) had the chance to meet Shehab and Asif (Adam was talking with other fans), even thought was for a short time, you guys are "Down to Earth" Keep it up guys, and again, GREAT show. MessageI was new to the area and was trying to find out your groups name. We saw you at the Tunsami Relief and I liked the tunes you performed. BTW, that was one of the greatest concerts I was ever at. I like it better than the Toronto concert that was broadcast a few days later. I found your name after watching the EC Music Awards. I had it in the back of my mind to pick up your CD's when I came across them. Do you sell them at Costco? They have a lot of Atlantic artists there as well. Every now and then I pick up a CD to hear music from this region. I love Halifax, been here 2 years now, and the culture just rocks. Art and Music are very strong here, beats where I came from in the US. Maybe its the ocean air, because it really gets into your soul here. I found I've been writing and playing more guitar here than ever before. My wife joked, must be the air. :) I'll try picking up some CD's - I downloaded a few samples, but the MP3's links are almost all broken. Bummer... oh well. MessageGreat to find your site within 2 minutes of looking. Usually takes longer for bands, but class stands out as always. Anyways, I first listened to a song by you during the live Tsunami concert. I believe the song was Homeless, but that and the words was what I was trying to look up. I really loved the band, and decided I have to check out their other releases. Definitely wanted that song in my collection. Well I'm listening to hear where you are from and the other info, at the end of the song. I started laughing and shaking my head when I hear the location and origins. Halifax Based Band, from Srilanka. My reason for that response is my best & closest, most cherished friend is from Sri lanka, and I am from Halifax. We are often bugging each other kiddingly about what is better, where is better, etc. Well I knew he'd laugh when I had to tell him, the new band I really loved is based in my favorite place: Halifax, and from his favorite place: Sri lanka. It figures I told him I just can't get away from that combination we formed, no matter what I do or like. Figures that would be the combination of a band I'm really taken and impressed by. MessageYou and all the artist who performed at the meto centre benifit concert last night should give your selves a hardy pat on the back for a job well done. Not only was it for a good cause, but it made me open my eyes to all the excellent talent the east coast is blessed with. I will be making a few trips to the music stores to update my cd collection. Artist who I had no idea who they were before last night I now look forward to enjoying there music. Again to all involed a suberb job for a truly worthy cause.

I mentioned to Q104 that a recording of the concert should be made & sold with proceeds going to the tsunami survivors. This effort will take years, therefore a recording should be sold to continue the rebuilding people's lives. I, for one would LOVE to have a copy! I would even love to assist in the artwork!
